Fantastic replies...some quite surprising from a P-car board. A thousand thanks.
Yes, looking at the cars - the 930 has great appeal. I would no doubt sit on the stoop and stare at that car whilst the sun set and would be entranced by it's beauty.
But it scares me...yep, the rebuild is costing $15K now and that really scares me, as a new LS7 (7liter engine of the new Z06) costs that much and the LS6 costs less than half for a new crate motor.
I have chosen to go the route of the Z06. Being 6'4", I just fit in them better, too. I've found one from my old tuner, low miles and a great deal of powertrain work...great value. 3100lbs, 315front/335rear tires, 450whp...tough to beat that for low 30's.
