The trailer is a 2001 and has excellent surge brakes. These brakes work great; they will apply the trailer brake proportional based on how hard you brake the tow vehicle. I have towed this trailer with Land Rover Disco POS, ML-500, Toyota Sequoia, and now with a Toyota FJ-Cruiser (V6). All I had to do was plug the trailer in and go, no need to screw around with installing trailer brake control units.

do you have dimensions? if its not to much to ask can you post overall length including the tong, width and height? I'm trying to see if it will fit in my garage with the car on top of it....

I have the same trailer, and have squeezed it into a 10x21 garage bay...and mine has the tire rack.
