Default Window Tint

Are there any rules against tinted windows in PCA Club Racing?

If so what are the stipulations, %, etc..

Thanks

Tinting of windows is not encouraged and may not be darker than that supplied by the factory.

when you go racing (if), tear it out, in the mean time, enjoy the car the way you want to.

Unless, of course, you've tinted the rear window and then you'll go through the joy of using a razor blade to scrape out the tint that exists between the defroster grid. Or, you'll have to just scrape off the defroster grid.

Thanks, yeah its pretty cool! May be looking to let it go soon (back to stock) if I can work a deal on a 95. I too am having the occasional race itch again (used to race SCCA) and want the 95 for the lack of OBDII sys and less weight.

That's a stupid rule considering it makes the glass more shatter-proof. I agree there should not be a blacked out mob job on a race car however a 50% film is barely dark and is easy to see through. I have it on my track car.
