WOW!
That looks awfully boy racer. I was thinking of doing some Chin events. Open passing would be fun if you know the people around you are both competent and mature enough for it. I don't see either demonstrated in that video.

x2. I heard many good things about Chin Motorsports, and I am very surprised this type of driving is tolerated in the higher run group. Makes me think twice about doing a Chin event.

I have gotten loose a couple of times with an instructor and caught it....generally the response is "nice catch...don't do it again!!!!"
If any event I was at had that kind of driving in ANY run group...I would pack up and leave.

Chin runs a good show. i have run three of their last four events at VIR. but, as 2/3 or more of the day is solo open track, the opportunity for idiocy is prevalent. typically the hardware is fast and expensive and the drivers tend to push the limits. still given VIR's strict policies and Chin's own policies, this kind of behavior would not seem to be tolerated. it appears this is video from several cars and probably different drivers.
it appears to be intentional behavior. personally, if the culprits are ever identified, i think Chin management should be made aware of these morons.
at the first Chin event i ran, a dude in a camaro spun in the warm-up lap on day one in south bend. they sent him home before 9am day one. they don't tolerate much BS

I kinow some of the guys at DTM and they are all nice guys. Not sure who posted the video but maybe it was a dare to see what the reaction would be.
He or She is certainly driving completely out of control and oblious of the impact their recklessness would have on others.

Who knows if that driver has anything to do with DTR???? They sell their logo stickers, shirts, hats, etc. to anyone, and anyone can put "Duct Tape Racing" on a video.
