RS4, definetly do the PCA DEs you will have great fun, and meet very nice car enthusiasts like yourself.........

As far as this thread is concerned, don't let it intimidate you, it is in the instructors' best interest for you to do well, no matter what they might "jokingly" say.....

Welcome, stick around, there is a lot of fun to be had........

(Disclaimer, I am not an instructor, just a dentist and and a track addict.....)

I've had instructors say very nice things about my driving (including, "Why are you still in Green?") but I've never asked an instructor for a sign-off or a promotion. I wouldn't blame any instructor for getting right out of the car if s/he heard that. I know I'm advancing because I'm facing a different set of challenges. But drivers who think they are advancing beyond challenges are clueless at best and dangerous at worst.

Even though I am spending more time on the track by myself I continue to be awed by the courage and dedication of instructors. I'm nowhere near instructor level yet, but I'm not sure I would have the ***** to do it. You guys rock.

Boston, that was a short sabbatical. Welcome back. And to think, I was betting on you re-registering under a new alter-ego and starting threads incognito asking questions about DE's and stuff....

You mean me?

Sorry, not a doc, not in Boston, not in a 911, not in black, not giving a f*ck what group I'm in in DE. I drive a 944 NA and I'm loving every s-l-o-w minute of it.
