Default Do I need new tires?

Seriously though, these have 20k km and are WAAAY past worn!!!!!

My question, does the wear indicate alignment issues? The car is aligned from the factory and I have my first PCA DE event in one week.
Thanks!

seems strange to see the tires corded on the inside with "factory" alignment. car seems out of spec. get the car cross weighed and aligned at a good race shop you will be much happier.

Don't bother with the corner-balance; 997s aren't height-adjustable from the factory, so it's not like you'll be able to fix/change/modify anything.

911s naturally take on negative camber under acceleration, so the excess inside wear is typical, but yours looks a bit extreme. In those photos, it's kind of tough to tell how worn the outsides are. If the outsides are worn more than the middle of the tire, your pressures are too low. If the middle is worn before the outsides, pressures are too high.

Your best bet is probably just to get a new set of street tires and get the car aligned to regular factory specs. 12k is phenomenal out of a set of tires; you must drive pretty gingerly!

How did the fronts look?

The 997 is somewhat notorious for coming from the factory with a bad alignment. My car, for example, came all mixed up. Warranty covered a new alignment.

You are past that, but $250 to have the car re-aligned is not bad and personally, I'd get a new set of tires...

I have new 305/30-19 Michelin PS2 tires going on as I type...
The wear was from inside(most) to outside(least). Inflation wasn't a issue.
Front tires are fine, maybe 50-60% tread remaining. Basically, I drive like a *****
