Porsche RS Spyders: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Finally, the Spyders get it right and fill the podium. It's great to finally see, not only the Porsche dominate, but the LMP1 cars get absolutely destroyed. Audi better watch out, the P2 boys are getting fast.

Good race and graduations to Porsche for the overall win. As fast as the Audi R10's, the P2 car's are the fastest at that track. I'm torn between Porsche and Audi and happy when either win, lately its more Audi winning but its nice to see the RS Spyder take the top spot.

How does everyone feel about the tape delayed broadcasts? I personally hate them. It always seems like something is edited out, even when the broadcast is >= the scheduled time of the race.
For example, when the #45 contacted the R10, all I heard about afterwards was a stop and go penalty. But, the Lizards website said the car had to come in for a lengthy pit stop due to a punctered radiator. Maybe I missed it, but I didn't hear anything about that on Speed.

See my first post above with the "WTF" on the tape delays. It was convenient to watch in primetime, but I'd rather watch live.

Because Speed Channel would rather spend time talking live bout Nascar....

The TV coverage didn't show the whole story. The back up at the "off ramp" into the pits at the 29 minute 45 second mark was classic. Car lined up from the start of pit lane at the cones to the hairpin waiting for the clock to count down so they could do a driver change at the 30 minute mark. But no mention of it on the coverage. It became a crucial part of the strategy for the finish of the race. Several cars couldn't get into the pit lane or chose not to and continued on hoping to catch another full course yellow which never happened. Only if you were there would you know that story line.

I have a feeling the P2 cars are going to get slowed down soon. The big boys in P1 will not like getting out-qualified and out-raced by a smaller class car. Money talks and I'm sure it's chattering behind the scenes at this moment. It was great to see some competition for the overall race win and I hope to see more through the season.
