Tow hook for the N/A 944
 

Anyone installed tow hooks on 944 N/A? I have not found anywhere to thread one in such as the 951. Any suggestions on what to weld one to or better yet if there is an attachment point I am not seeing?

No place to put the turbo style tow hook in the factory bumper without replacing the bumper shocks with solid mounts and drilling a hole in bumper. You will need to make a plate to go behind the bumper with a nut welded to it then bolted to the bumper to screw the tow hook into. The bumper is made out of aluminium so you need the plate for support. It is much easier to tow from the lower tie down than to fabricate the bumper tow hook.
