Jeez - there are a LOT of posts to these lists and Forums about driving your Porsche, Audi, BMW (insert just about any make/model here:-) at the limit (speed limit, of course;^). So, here is an invitation to drive your car on the track - and earn "bragging rights" on Rennlist......

What: Mid-Ohio TracQuest/Rennlist Drivers Education...
Where: Mid-Ohio Sports Car Source, Lexington, OH
When: August 13 - 14
Who is invited: Anyone - beginners up through Instructors.
Car Types Allowed: no motorcycles or SUVs - but Porsches, Corvettes, Audi's, BMWs, Vipers, Ferraris, Subarus - well, you get the idea - are more then welcomed...

Seriously - the TracQuest/Rennlist DE events are different then many DE events held by other clubs/organizations and include catered lunches, free refreshments throughout the day, a banquet dinner - and an *unprecedented* amount of track time. Isn't it time you gave it a try?

Try it, you will not be dissappointed. There is no greater satisfaction that I have had with the Porsche than learning to drive it as it was meant to me used in the confines of a nice race track. Great instruction is available. Take advantage of it. You'll be amazed at:

1) How little you actually knew about vehicle dynamics
2) How much true driving skill you can develop in a very short period of time
3) Just how fast/hard you can drive your street car and still drive it home for dinner

Amazing cars, amazing experience, and the best time you will have with your clothes on.

From one hooked track-rat to all Porsche fans...

Finally a DE that I would really like to go to, close to home... and I won't be returning from out of town until the evening of the 14th.

Anyone attending that would like to drive up to Cleveland afterwards (90 miles) to see Sprinsteen, contact me off list as I have a couple of pair of decent tickets available for sale.
