Are there any DOT regulations about transporting gas in a drum on a trailer or in the back of a pickup? Some told me you needed special tanks or something but I don't know if they knew what they were talking about.

I have hauled it with 5 gal jugs, but felt like a rolling molotov cocktail ready to explode. I suck it up and pay at the track just to not carry it. Although at tracks like VIR, where you can only get $50 worth at a time and they charge $100 until it clears might be worth it next time.
