Post Racing Harness for 996 Coupe

I have a 01 996 Coupe with a harness bar and camera mount and I would like recommendations on a removable harness with the shoulder belts going over the bar and mounted at the rear seatbelt mounting points.

I just had a set of Sparco/Sabelt/TRW 6 point harness belts installed. I believe they came from OG Racing. I also have a Brey Krause harness mount with "belt loops" for the shoulder harnesses. All were purchased used. I will be trying them in the next DE event. Look at OGR's website. I don't know if there is such a set up where the harnesses hook on to the rear seat belt mounts AND are removable. If you have a harness bar, and shoulder harnesses, the rear seats become useless, so the removable harness bars won't give you additional seating space.

Go here on my website. Its for a 993, but the principle is the same. Of coure you cant get a harness bar like the 993 bar, so you need to buy the harness mount made by BK - the shoulder straps wrap right around the bar. Call the guys at OG - they will set you straight.

Try stable energies: http://stable-energies.com

He sells Stable Energies harness bars, Deist harnesses, Safety Devices cages, and a slew of other stuff.

He is very involved with my PCA region (NNJR) and has years and years of experience.

Just givin' a plug for a local,
-Zoltan.

Schroth. Nothing else even comes close. I bought mine from Steve Weiner at Rennsport systems in Portland, Oregon.
