Well, i'll give you the short version, because i lost the time sheets.
Saturday was very wet in the morning sessions, and unfortunately there were many wrecks. But by the end of the day everyone got in a few dry runs.
Sunday was much better, luckily the rain held out for the last few races.
Kevin Buckler qualified on the pole with a 1:27, and I think Andy Mcneil ended up winning the race. When they lapped me they were dicing pretty good, inches away from each others bumpers.
All in all it was a great race weekend, with a lot of close racing and lots of cars(200)

Sounds pretty exciting! Good for Dennis, he is a good driver. I understand he is coming to Watkins Glen this year. How did Karl do in his Cup car?
Greg, I imagine you were under that blanket someplace?

F-stock was won by Mark Hupfer (big surprise!) who also qualified 2nd in a field of D, E, and F cars. Amazing car and driver.
2nd was Greg Merrill and 3rd was William Pawlan.
I finished 4th after qualifying on pole. Long story but two 993RSCS's in the back of the field came on very strong and while our times weren't much different they had a lot of pull on me down the back straight. I raced with Phil Blackstone and was I just a lap away from hopefully making a move on him as I was all over his bumper during the last 4 laps but I had to take an evassive manuever in turn 3 when some GT car blew up and decided to cut across the track in my path. I escaped un-scathed but I had no chance of making up any positions at that point and needless to say that was the end of my race. Next lap was the checker.
I ran the Michelin Cup Sports and was impressed with them, the engineers trackside helped me with pressures/temps and I hit the alignment spot on and just adjusted the pressures accordingly. The car kept getting better and better and if the race had been another 18 laps I believe I would kept turning the same times. Highly recommended tires.

Greg what size fronts are you running??
I thought MPSC only came in 225 or did you slap some 275's up front?? Did you change the camber from you hoosier set up??
Sorry to hijack the thread, feel free to e mail me off line.

No problem Eric. I ran the 265's which were too big and I couldn't get enough temperature in them. The 235's will be out in May and I will switch to them. Camber was slightly less than what you would run on Hoosier's, about 2.5 They were very stiff tires and I had to make some adjustments in the shock to get the car to bite.

Bill,
He qualified third and finished 2nd. Allen Noveck was absolutely flying and had the fastest time of any stock car he won D and overall in Group 3 (D, E, F cars).
