Default Car SetUp Question

Waco Kid here,
Club race at Hallet was great, it was fun and I am hook!!

I do however have a very stupid question to ask the group. Is there a book I can read to better understand the dynamics of car set-up; and I mean a basic book for starters.
I drive an 86' 911 (very stock) and know what a torsion bar and sway bar is but do not understand how they work together. I have a great mechanic who is very helpful but I have difficulty speaking "the language". Is there a book out there that explains they dynamics of understeer/oversteer; to better explain what I am expeiencing/understand what is going on?

What I would like to know is how tires (sizes), torsion bars, shocks, and sway bars effect a cars cornering ability.

Chassis Engineering by Herb Adams. Another HP Books publication. A bit newer and maybe somewhat more concise. That said, both books live on the shelf here in the study.
