Are we all old friends now? Yes, I have met many of the people that responded to my early posts and I have learned something from most of them..... they are all human beings that share the same passion as I do.....
Synopsis? No, read those pages yourself and come to your own conclusions.....
How long did it take you to move through the ranks? I am not as talented as some/most of the people on this forum, but I can tell you the journey was just as much fun as the destination......
Do you look back any differently on those original posts? No, that's where I was on my learning curve at the time and I thought someone had to ask those questions.....no matter what kind of responses I would get.....
As far as this thread being a great resource, I hope it has helped others as much as it has helped me........

I have been misclassified from the beginning.
When I started in Green, I knew nearly everything about driving fast.
Now that I'm in Black, I listen intently to all driving instruction.

Back on point, I think one of the worst things you can do to a student is to promote them before they are ready. Its not only the loss of instructions but the realization that they got in over their head but now can't back out of the decision due to pride.
