Default Late hubs and spindle on early 951

Looking to install the beefier 87-88 hubs and spindles on my 86 track car. I don’t want to replace the investment I already have in early aftermarket A arms and wheels. From what I’ve read this can be done and the only drawback is you loose some negative camber due to the strut mounting holes designed for longer arms. My question is for those that have done this how much negative camber have you lost and how much can you regain by using camber plates? My car likes –2.5, so I won’t need much more then that, -3 would be a nice luxury.

I've made the change.

No problem getting -3 degrees up front with top mounts pinned in stock location.
