Wow, truly no solidarity in the East coast ranks. You're suggesting they could keep up with me?

It could have been worse. At least Ron found the caps lock

Don't worry Charlie, hopefully I can remember how Ronnie's engine goes back together.

Default 964 Carrera Cup Challenge

Dr. & Bob, I like the fact that your stepping up to host this event! As far as the comment of "home" track advantage, I feel that perhaps it could come into play. So you might just have to show me around.
If it turns out its a fun event perhaps it could be progressed to another venue, and then another and another ?

I hear rumors of an official Carrera Cup race being held there, for 996 GT3 cups... and an 8 race POC/PCA series... with support from Porsche and a tire manufacturer. If you are thinking about getting a GTC3 car, get it now before this news is official. If this happens I think I am keeping mine to run in that series while I learn the 997 Cup.

We'll just do our own "poor man's" version with 964 Cups.

Laptimes dropped this year. The more likely cause was perfect conditions at Lime Rock and the "class switch" to Dunlop tires at the Glen...

Now thats the spirit! I like the angle "poor man's" Cup series. I think that it plays on the emotional side of any sport. Hey perhaps the local TV talent could pick up on this?? I would glady chip some $$ into a travel troph... er... Cup!

Of course "if" there is no TV personalitits then well, no need to go there.

"Poor man's" "porsche cup" is an oxymoron.

A clever one at that, I thought!

But compared to you wet cup types, perhaps we are poor.

Based on some datgalogging, there are places where terminal velocity is higher with the small electric wing over the 3.8RS wing.

Same speeds entering the straight? (e.g., are we accounting for difference in tires through the turns with that statistic?)
