NA$CAR and WKA Karting

Not really sure where they're headed with this. Rotax MaxChallenge karts are affiliated with Champ Car, but since RMC isn't under WKA, WKA was looking for a similar partner?
IIRC, the IRL was involved with karting a year or two ago....then ChampCar stepped in.

Briggs and Stratton makes an obvious choice for a partner since the WKA can't seem to get away from running an engine that is many generations older in technology. A great fit for NAPCAR.
And there is definately not a shortage of NAPCAR wannabes running around in circles with Briggs engines.
It's almost ludicrous to what extent they push what is essentially a lawnmower engine. In one class, they have to bolt the head down with a girdle so they don't blow it straight off the engine!
