I'm in...GTS4..glad to see you've moved to GTS 5 Tim...you are tooo fast for me! see you guys soon...drop off is thursday night after 6:00 FYI..

I am doing my best to get there. Not sure my ducks are all in a line yet, but I am working feverishly. I will not be there til Friday night at the earliest. GTS 3

Got my dyno today 204, wonder what the BMW boys in GTS 2 are putting out???
Jeff and I wont be getting in until after 8-9pm on Thurs, will try and get into the track to drop trailers. I saw a thread on the NASA board that GTS is going to try and paddock together in the upper paddock, we will look for the Pcars. If someone wants to save a couple of spaces for us, that would be great!!

Why not run in GTS2 with us? You have the same HP as Eric and about the same weight? I'd rather see you in GTS2 too!
Eric, 240 RWHP out of a S2 (using a 85% drive train efficiency)? The factory Porsche gods must have been looking after you.

Hey Tristan,
After the news I got this weekend, I just may come play in GTS2. Basically, I am 500 lbs overweight!!!! Given my chipped HP, I could weigh 2,650 with me in the car! I am at 3,170. We know it's easier and cheaper to add weight than lose weight or add HP, so GTS 2 may be an option.
Regardless, I had a great time, 2 4th place finishes (mid pack of GTS 3) and I ran my fastest laps ever at MO on Toyos, so the track is much faster this year with the new surface.
Overall my impression of the track was VERY positive. There are no reference markers like we are used to but the smoothness and grip make up for it. The only corner that really got me was T1. It just looks like a lot of black, no turn in points, targets, etc. Basically, brake a bit, steer floor it and hold on tight.
The event was run extremely well, not like some of the events in the past. Bottom line is that you can't be competitive in PCA and NASA. For now, NASA is fun but I'll concentrate on PCA (that means hoosiers over toyos) but we'll see what happens with the nationals....just may convert to NASA.
