A1 at Laguna Seca cancelled for safety reasons

What a crock...it was cancelled because they did such a lousy job at setting it up and advertising that they'd lose money.

This also means our Spec Miata Challange double support races are cancelled too....what a bummer....I just finished prepping an hour ago....

Yeah, I heard about this. There are also rumos of A1GP going bankrupt.

I just got word from an inside source that the race is back on. I guess we will all have to keep our eyes and ears tuned for any other potential hiccups.

James - I don't know if the SFR SCCA will jump back into the game or not...I'm guessing they won't. If I stick around town, I'll definitely be glad to meet up.

The A1GP race is back on, for the moment...., however, the Spec Miata Challenge support races will not be reinstated. The A1GP folks continue to give the SFR SCCA the runaround with respect to paying them so we are out officially.
