RHIT DE Event... April 1 or 2... who is interested
 

As I stated in my thread looking for instructors, Team Rose Motorsports, the motorsporst club at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology is trying to run a DE event at Putnam Park. It will either be April 1st or 2nd depending on which day we can get a better turnout.

I am posting this to see what type of interest there is in an event this weekend. We are attempting to do this as somewhat of a fundraiser for the club as we got our funding cut this year. We are currently in the process of rebuilding the engine on our Pro-Stock dragster as well as continuing work on our Mustang drag car and Mazda RX-7 autocross car.

We have not set an entry fee yet, but it shouldn't be much different than what you pay for a DE run by a PCA region. We are going to have 3 run groups and a 4th group for the instructors. I am planning on running it like a PCA event.

Let me know if you are interested in coming. It is for a good cause and any profit that we make will go to helping the club continue doing what we all love, working on cars.

I would definitely be interested. It would probably be the first weekend I'll have the 944 fully prepped for the 06 track season.
