The irony is that as sad as this is, it's one of the funniest things I've seen all year!!
On a serious note, I hope the dude's ok.
T,
You and your whacky *** videos!!!

I think I am going to download that and use it as my own version of prozac... I am going to tell myself that he was not seriously injured so I can laugh without too much guilt... that is friggin funny.

That event looked so well organized that I was waiting for that ambulance to "top off things" and ran over that poor guy!
It was very funny as well! I hope he's ok though.

"Fortunately" it appears that this happened in Europe, based on the ambulance, and not in the U.S. or, God forbid, California. Otherwise this post might instead be going something like:
"Boy, that guy was doing something incredibly dangerous and stupid. So should he sue the tire company, the car company or the event promoter, or maybe all of them as well as the Government for not adequately protecting him from his own stupidity."
Unfortunately the U.S. has so severely impacted Natural Selection that this moron could have been financially set for life if this event occurred here, and the scariest part is that he would have been free to breed others just like him.
[rant off]
Based on this incident, I wonder whether he will re-number his car to "666", and start calling it "Christine" (as in the "character" in Stephen King's book)?

My personal opinion is that a lot of the negativeness comes from most of our natural aversion to the "sport" of drifting. And I also wonder if the fact that these are foreigners in a foreign land has anything to do with it?
Anyway, someone gets run over by a car and they likely get killed. Remember that while you're all laughing. And let's see how many people laugh when someone does something really dumb in a race car and gets their brains splattered as a result.
