Default 7:15,63 min. Nürburgring new record

A GT2 get the record back. what a time!!!
7:15,63 min..
The receipt is easy. build a car with big HP. put a similar to race suspension and get a true carrera or supercup pilot and let him drive the car.
The 8 Min record is nothing any more.
who will break the 7 min limit first?

Damn..... That's insanity. I love it.
(I find myself responding to most of Konstantin's topics like this?)

a C6 did 8.14
I do not know anythung about unoficial records by teams who give soem great number that nobody can prove.
This is a test driving messured by Sport Auto the magazine who organize the "tuner war " etc in Germany
we talk of street car which are TÜV aproved and has the German street registration.
otherwise a race car like athe race 996 TT from Alzen makes about 6.51 on slicks under race conditions

lets be honest Konstantin - when a Brit cheater turns up and sets a time, its not allowed. When a German cheater turns up its OK. If we look at what people are doing with real street GT2s, we have long past the point where more PS (power) means better lap times. Its the chassis that needs the work not the engine if serious improvement is to be seen. Give one of the road legal Maseratis to a serious tuner, along with a budget and a sub 7 is on within the next 12 months. The improvements in times with the 911 chassis are reaching their zenith, what keeps them ahead is 40 years of building a knowledge base.

I would guess the fastest "street legal" car Porsche ever produced was the GT1 ? What do you think that would do ?

I can't imagine a street GT2 being only 25 seconds behind the totally insane run by Alzen, the driver must be even sicker than him.

Maybe the single digit run of 962 street cars would challenge the gt1 as the fastest street car?

I dont understand.
why a 550 HP Gt2 is a cheater car???
It is the suspension and the chassis who needs more and not the engine.
with a former racer driver a good time is possible
