Snowmobile's at Lester, NY drags tonight
My buddy is hitting the drag strip tonight with his sled? He is one of the fastest snowmobiles in the US. He's running 20 psi on 1000cc's. Engine dyno'ed at around 300 hp. The sleds are the fastest things out there. What do you think he'll be running time wise? He's looking at running Methanol and 27 psi soon enough. Crazy or what?

He ran a 10.5 at 133 and his boost tube was loose. He wasn't getting the 10k rpm he's supposed to. Wacky stuff. 130" track by 10-1/2" wide. So his contact patch is ~600 sq-in.

I went to Gainesville raceway last night and there was a snowmobile running like 11.2 at 119 or something. I can't remember the exact numbers

Somehow, I get the feeling that the mysterious Professor is from Northern Ohio or thereabouts. At least his "Nelson-ring" experience points that way....
