Default Speed not showing the F1 race live??

I checked the speed tv schedule for sunday to see what time the race started and to my suprise, they aren't showing it at all until the 29th. I can't believe they aren't showing it live. I hope someone has found something I haven't and can prove that I'm retarded, but as of right now I think I'm going to go cry...

Take a TUMS because it's going to be shown on CBS who will be broadcasting 4 F1 races this year. Their production and commentary is second class at best so hold on.

Speed will be showing the F1 race on Thursday (I think). Of course it won't be live but I am assuming that they will use the regular broadcast staff.

How different could F1 possibly be from NA$CAR racing?
There aren't enough Tums in the world for this...............

Even though I now have a high definition cable box with built in DVR, I still like to get up at 5-6AM and watch the show live!

I've given up all "*** firmly planted on the couch" TV viewing for my bride, but F1 is where I draw the line!

SPEED is showing practice, qualifying, and Inside F1. Here in Florida they are being telecast several times Friday-Saturday. Of course, watching them will REALLY cause you to miss Varsha/Hobbes/Matchett...

Yes, speeds on air talent have "seen the elephant" and that counts for a lot.
I wish F1 would go back to the old qualifying. That was excitement!! Playing chicken with the time remaining and oneupsmanship. Shoey OK guys beat this, Montoya like this? Shoey no like this etc. it was great. I'll never forget Montoya on the drying track at Spa a few years ago. BIG BRASS ONES

Does anyone know if it will be in HD? That might be worth the trade-off of crappy commentary

I can't believe F1 with no:
1)mention of "clag"
2) no sound of "OOOOIIII whoa BOY!!!!!!!
3) no sound of "whoa whoa whoa.....wheww!!!!
4) NO ANIMATED COMMENTARIES
5) NO HOMEMADE WORDS!!
I CAN'T HANDLE IT!!!!!!!

I read that in Europe, you could get F1 races last year in HD via satellite.

Via satellite, you get F1 with "multi display screen" that gives you main screen (what you see on tv), timetable with sector times, pit camera etc...

I think you can have as many as 5 displays at the same time, with badass bigscreen is pretty damn cool!

FYI,

If you have wireless laptop (ot PC where you can watch tv), go to www.formula1.com and check their live timing, during the race (and practices & qualifyings) you can see sector times of each driver while they're driving, gives much more when you see their times.
