The Zone 2 event is heavily over-subscribed. Something about a plague of track rats deserate for a fix after a long winter hiatus. Most events are always short of instructors, but this is the first time I've ever had the registration gal tell me they already had TOO MANY INSTRUCTORS!! Doh!

Instructor in Red group, waitlisted too.

Also for anyone that may be interested, I'm going to have some parts for sale at the event.

1. Brand new Getty GT1 wing - fiberglass with carbon fiber rear wing
2. 930 whale tail
3. DAS Roll Bar for 78-89 911/930

If you know of anyone who will be at the event that may be looking for any pieces like this, let me know. They'll save some money on shipping by picking it up at the event.

Does your car really have 1000 HP.......

Justin and I may have to park somewhere else so we aren't overwhelmed.

Bright red and 1000 HP. Can't wait to see it.

Ok. Not really 1000hp. just 900hp. Still not enough to keep up with Dale though.

Damn I wish I could go. Just had a great weekend there though, except my spin in T3 on Sunday (3rd spin ever, 2nd at VIR). I took my buddy out for a ride on Sat. and he kept saying, "man you are close to the edge over here (at turn-in)." I of course thought I was fine. Then on Sunday I dropped a wheel in that exact place and came around after a late pass going in off line. No big deal except that M5 staring at me (sorry Matt!, who was my passenger). Only a few sprinkles of rain, couldn't believe it. weather.com sucks. Dropped another 2 seconds this weekend, I don't think there are many of those left though, not on Toyos.

You guys have fun!

Larry you have nothing to worry about my man. Dunlops and 30+ year newer technology.

Somehow I think your GT3 will still outrun us all...

Besides, I'm just a "Wannabe".

It really doesn't matter, I'm just looking for people to have a good time with. My son Dan & I will definitely party with you guys this weekend at the Turbo Ghetto!

BTW, he drives a 951, does that count as a turbo?

Brian.... do I call Larry out on this one in my TT??? Larry - My best in my TT at VIR (slicks / mild mods) is a 2:02.50 or so.

But I must say that a 2:05 or 2:06 in a GT3 is more fun than a 2:03 in a TT!

RSR, you don't have to call me out. If you're running 2:02s & 2:03s I'll wave to you as you go by.

You know, it's tough enough running against guys with one turbo, let alone 2.

Just playin' with ya. I wish I could make it. Currently "own" three Porsches including 2 race cars and none are ready for the track!!!

Have fun and be careful. I think a good time for a "stock" GT3 cup on slicks, if they are new slicks, would be 2:04 range, which on this track would be about the same as a stock TT. Mine has about 500HP so this is good for another 2 seconds a lap at VIR vs stock.
