Rocket, I have looked at these but went with Hoosiers instead. What is the weight of your car? This plays a major role in the decision of what tires you will want. Also, is this for DE, Club Racing etc.?

I have no first hand info, but I did talk to Tire Rack, and they passed on some opinions. They are not quite as fast as Hoosiers. Tire Rack sells a lot of tires, so I usually take their advice. However, at some point this year, I will probably try the Avons, just because of the price.

For your weight car, the Michelin Pilot Sport cups are the best compromise between performance and longevity, plus you can use them in damp conditions. The Hoosiers might be a bit quicker but won't last nearly as long.
