$4000+!!! Sponsor update for GTS Blitz at Mid-O
At last count, the entry list for the Blitzkrieg at Mid Ohio was up to 38 entrants. GTS2 leads the way with 14 and GTS3 is not far behind with 9. One more in GTS3 and we will receive a free race entry to raffle off to the GTS3 racers. GTS2 has already earned their free entry for one lucky driver. With 37 entrants, GTS Challenge is the largest field of the entire weekend, with American Iron the next largest with 29. If you haven't registered for Mid Ohio, it's not too late.
Two more sponsors have come aboard. Inertiawerks (http://www.inertiawerks.com/) is owned by fellow GTS1 racer David Ellingsworth of the VA region. They specialize in BMW, Porsche and Audi performance parts and services along with custom manufacturing. Isaac, LLC (http://www.isaacdirect.com/) has also joined the GTS ranks. Isaac, LLC have developed Head and Neck restraint systems that have tested more effective than the HANS device. Please visit both websites for company and product info.
Now the really big news. With the addition of Inertiawerks and Isaac, LLC, the total prizes and awards for the Blitzkrieg has grown to over $4000,00. The awards will be given as follows:
30 minutes after the race on Saturday we will be holding the GTS Challenge Luncheon and trophy ceremony. Lunch is being put together by GTS2 racer Carl Picelle. We are asking for $2 per person to cover the costs. Location will be announced in a future email or at the GTS driver's meeting Saturday morning.

- Class winners of Saturdays race will recieve a 50% off discount of an Isaac device ($448.00 value)
- Second place finishers of each class on Saturday recieve $25 of Carbotech Bucks
- The "Apex Performance Heat of the Battle Award" will be given to the winner of the best wheel-to-wheel battle in Saturday's race. The award is a "FireCharger Fire Suppression System (retail value $349.95)
- A Intermediate Isaac® ($895 value) will be given as a door prize at the GTS Lunch and Trophy ceremony following Saturday's race.
- Inertiawerks is awarding a Moduline Helmet Holder in white ($79.00) as a door prize
