Yes, that is a sign of global warming. TX, which is in the temperate zone, is expected to experience more severe weather from the increased energy in the global system. So TX average temperature is supposed to stay same same, but as one goes toward the north pole it is supposed to get hotter on an average basis? Riiigghtt.

"Dearth of winter" is a very good description of TX weather when that snowy and very cold picture of COTA was snapped. About the only thing humorous about it is some dude in a heavy winter coat snow skiing down T1.

Oh, I thought the the latest term was 'climate change' as the whole 'global warming' term no longer fit the data....
