I did the tour at Monza today. What a place! The banking on the old track is amazing! They said a few years ago they had 180k people there for the F1 race. It had to be crazy.

That is cool. A park in the city. You used to be able to rent it by the hour, no workers, no gear, just drive...

It's the largest walled park in Europe and has entrances in multiple towns. The old track is only run for a rally event anymore as it was deemed unsafe in 1968. I wonder when the last time you could rent by the hour was? It was rumored that Ascari crashed when his tie went in front of his eyes!

Like Peter said, it's the largest walled public park in Europe. It was once the hunting area of Napoleon! It's a reasonably priced tour that took you around the track, to the old track, the podium, and through the main grandstand building.
There's a sim too!

Three Wheelin'
Was there in 1996 for an F1 test (back when they had in season testing) and again for the race in 2006. The way the old NA engine sounds would hang in the air was incredible.
