Ummm, “unable to slow the car...”

Yes, that is what happens when you driver deeper than ever before and expect to overcome the laws of phyics.

I feel bad for the GT3 driver, an innocent bystander, hope no one was hurt.

So many warning signs in this video...

I didn’t even notice there was a passenger in the Mustang! Yikes. Instructor or ride a long?

I'm pretty sure the passenger seat is empty.

Short sleeves? Check!
Fingerless gloves? Check!
No HANS device? Check!
Go kart donut? Check!
Seat not bolted to floor adequately? Check!

This was the 1st session on Day 2 at VIR with Chin Track Days on 29-30 June 2019. The car was running well. The event was going well. The session, and my event, ended with a Black Flag when I was unable to adequately slow the car in the Brake Zone at the end of the back straight. I ended up leaving the track and then crossing back over it... in the process hitting a GT3.
This is the description on his YouTube video. Why would someone even post this embarrassing video? I hate to bring legal stuff in (I'm not a lawyer), but isn't this inviting a suit against yourself for incompetence and injury?

My favorite line, "The session, and my event, ended with a Black Flag."

Looking again, you are right. The seat top looks like a helmet and the airbag at the end almost looked like a person.

Very unfortunate that mustang drivers session was cut short by a black flag.

The war, and a few people's cafe lunches, ended that day in Nagasaki.

My mistake. Must have been the headrest of the passenger seat flopping around.

Yep.

Also, fooled me with the passenger side airbag deploying. Guess he shorted the seat switch out when installing the aftermarket seat.

I watched a ROAR RX8 do the same thing at a Chin event some years ago. Pro driver blew the braking zone and went straight across and into the woods.

Pretty Sure those Gloves are Nylon as well VERY good skin melting material...
And If you watch till the VERY end when the camera falls down Pretty shure there is a good shot of his SHORTS!
He spent more money on Camera Equipment and B.S. Crap then investing in good safety gear,
Why the gloves? is it to prevent chaffing on the wheel? what is is the point? Clearly he "cheaped out" on the seat installation, Every piece of safety gear in that car is the cheapest bare bones crap, except for the actual seat but I guess he liked it because it has a big MOMO Tag on it...
Where is the Tech? How do they allow nylon Gloves short sleeves, Shorts and a seat that is mounted so poorly that it could double as an amusement ride?
I feel REALLY terrible for the GT3 Driver.... and then this guy POSTS this video? Like is he proud? Ive seen a TON of Videos like this and this one Really makes me angry, Ive never seen a bigger poser.....

Does anyone think that the GT3 driver should have given the GT350 a point by earlier in the session? He seemed right on the GT3's bumper in some turns. It's a DE.

Just wondering.
