Not that I won't make it there and agree the track is must-visit someday...
Bringing your own car across the border requires a passport and 15 minutes of paperwork that you will never get asked for. Having your shop bring the car across requires them to use a customs broker, ask Dan Jacobs to use his or either of the other 2 on the race website. Big boy track, great event, Thursday TnT, Matt's beer and putine

A vote for Mosport; please consider making the trip to Canada. Mosport has the most fascinating flow; turn 1 where some very interesting passes take place. Turn 2 that starts with a view of the sky, then the small bump on the inside the turns the car just slightly allowing you to go full throttle in even a high HP car. Turn 4 that forces you to stay flat downhill all the while you're heading for the impossibly tight turn 5. Then the Andretti straight, that isn't straight but certainly fast. Finally Turns 8, 9, and 10 that require a sense of rhythm and flow. While Mosport reminds me of Laguna Seca, it's a proper length. Four blind turns that reward seeing through corners. While I find VIR and WGI great challenges, when I visualize Mosport, I can feel the track. The race is well run and our Canadian hosts make me everyone feel welcome and appreciated. Make the trip, you'll be glad you did. Ken

Crossing the "boarder" northbound with a race car on an open trailer was a piece of cake.

Agent: "Going to Mosport?"
Me: "Yes, sir."
Agent: "Have a great time." (Waves me through)

Crossing the "boarder" southbound was a different story.

U.S. Agent: "Are you carrying any guns?"
Me: "No, sir."
U.S. Agent: "What's your trailer license plate?"
Me: "Uh...I can't...remember..."
U.S. Agent: "Pull into the impound area...now."

I had to take the car off the trailer. My tow truck was emptied for inspection. 90-minutes later, I was allowed to leave.

Oh, and there's a toll road that takes you north of the Toronto traffic nightmare. TAKE IT!!!!!!

Rt. 407--really the only way to go (the 401 through TO is a deathtrap) but be prepared to pay tolls like you've never seen. It's still worth it.......and it goes all the way to Oshawa now with further construction taking it right into Bowmanville.

Gary
....and then there was the time coming back that the US border guards X-rayed my car ......

I think the toll, which they mail to you, is about 25.00. But, worth every penny.

I wish; round-trip you're about 45-50 bucks short if you get on from the QEW and take it into Oshawa as I do.

This is also my experience crossing the border: going into Canada, no problem. Getting back with my US passport, 20 questions including this gem:

Agent - "Are you bringing any beverages back with you?"
Me - "No"
Agent - *looks at my Taco Bell drink cup* "What's that?"

Agree on taking the toll road, it's worth every Canadian looney or whatever that currency is .

Check out "Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada" on Facebook. Both of this weekend's races are on there.

Kind of reminds me of Monty Python and the Holy Grail at the bridge of death

What is your favorite color?

2 weeks to go. 48 cars. What are the chances this is the last PCA in Canada for the foreseeable future?

I'm up here now for a track day tomorrow--waited all of 3 minutes to get through the L-Q crossing. Don't let that stop you, you'll be missing out on an awesome track.
