Thank you!!! We are working on getting a great photographer, will be doing a video review of the track with anyone interested and hoping to get everyone out before the Club Race and kids go back to school!

I've coached a Jersey Shore event, great folks!
Always brings back memories of summers there when my late grandfather had a home in Avalon. "Cooler by a mile"

Funny, I live in Long Branch and it is indeed cooler by a mile! Usually 10 degrees!

I have conducted 4 or 5 track walks of Thunderbolt and 2 of Lightning...

I always thought Avalon's slogan on the Turnpike sign was corny as hell. But here it is decades later and I still remember it

I'll be there but I'm running out of room for your little stickers on my helmet.

Just want to say kudos to Greg Pfremmer (Track Chair), Paul Solk (Registrar) and the rest of the volunteers and participants at the "Thunder in the Pines" DE for an excellent event. Extremely well run (with every effort made to accommodate weather-related session disruptions - black flag due to lightning @ Thunderbolt!! LOL) The two days were awesome and I got to meet and run with some new folks, which is always good. Hats off to the Jersey Shore PCA region for a great 2-day DE event ahead of NJMP club race this weekend! If you haven't run with this group, consider adding them to your calendar...great people all around, who put on a solid event!

Despite the event being held in South Jersey there was stunning lack of gold chains. There was, however, a bunch of Corvettes, which is sort of like the gold chain of the automotive world, so I was not disappointed.
My only complaint is that the driver's meeting started 10 minutes late. I don't want to lay the blame on anyone but I think it's the registrar's fault.
