Still can't sleep before a track weekend

I'm fine beforehand but can't sleep at all after it's all over and I'm home after the drive.......too wound up and caffeined out. So I clean up the car and the track wheels, change the oil, then go to bed and lay there with eyes wide open......
But then I'm usually on the couch by mid-morning (if I'm not getting tires done); thank god for retirement

I thought that's the reason for the bar at the Seneca lodge?... I sleep like a baby the night before DE, With the assistance of Jack Daniels.. Its not the night before.. its 2 nights before, because you're loading everything up packing, loading the trailer and thinking... What did I forget? Did I remember to put the brake pads in the trailer? Rotors?. Duct tape? , Tie wire? Helmet? Gloves? Fuel Jugs? Spare Tires? oh wait.. The cooler.. Gonna have to get some ice.. Crap.. Forgot the pretzels.. On... and on..

Pretzels are for the ride..TO the track... . Too much of a pain to take the Rig through the Drive-through... Ice and water... Anyone is welcome to have some.. went through a case of water last event... Its going to be warm Wed so Ill have some for ya... If it were a bills game there would be way more beer in the cooler..
