Interesting that it was a RLister posting about 13/13, but this is pro racing.
I've argued many an on-track with Dorsey.
He's a great guy, and Thomas is a great driver. Started club racing the same car as I did!

My PB at LRP is a 56.4. When I watch my video compared to Thomas Merrill's quali lap at LRP it looks like I am out for a Sunday drive. What a difference four seconds makes in what you have to do at LRP.

The difference in his lap and one 1.5 seconds in the same car are amazing. The little details all over are outstanding. It's really fun to work with these guys and hear/see what they are thinking and doing.
