Well, at Laguna Seca, there was some “argy-bargy,” but he had his win reinstated on appeal... http://gotransam.com/news/Merrill-Wi...y-Winner/69295

Like always, there are 3 sides to every story. Doesn't matter much as his drive was impressive and the issues were with one move. If you read the appeal and decision, it was well considered. I didn't ask Dorsey what he thought.

The videos and happenings from Detroit were much more interesting and the track feed was good to watch.

Actually, it was about the "one move" that took out another former winner. Thomas was able to continue, Scott wasn't. Of course, it's Dorsey's call.

Interesting that it was a RLister posting about 13/13, but this is pro racing.

I've argued many an on-track with Dorsey. He's a great guy, and Thomas is a great driver. Started club racing the same car as I did!

My PB at LRP is a 56.4. When I watch my video compared to Thomas Merrill's quali lap at LRP it looks like I am out for a Sunday drive. What a difference four seconds makes in what you have to do at LRP.

The difference in his lap and one 1.5 seconds in the same car are amazing. The little details all over are outstanding. It's really fun to work with these guys and hear/see what they are thinking and doing.
