you really should install 3rd radiator, it will help a lot. especially if you are driving PDK.

Yes, especially if you track the car. I'd install a CSF over a factory center. All we use in our shop are CSFs.

Does the CSF radiator come as a kit, with pipes, clips, plastic framework, etc?

We can build the kit special order and do upon request, using all Porsche parts (with exception of the CSF radiator).

Another data point similar to the OP’s: my 991.1 Carrera S with PDK would routinely run oil temps in the 265-270 F range at the Glen in the summer. I didn’t have the center radiator either. That car would also go into limp mode at speed in T10 at the Glen with a PDCC fault. Very scary when the computer kills the car’s momentum in the middle of a high-G turn.

Yikes. Good thing there's runoff space on turn 10, but that's a scary turn even without upsetting the car's balance in the middle.

I don't have PDCC, so at least that variable is out. But it looks like I'll try short shifting a bit on the straights to see if that keeps the temp down to a reasonable level.

Just to second Charles comments about CSF radiators. They are much superior from thermal capacity then from BEHR and quality is outstanding. For reference points, for my 997: CSF # 3553; CSF # 3551; CSF # 3552

Does anyone have actual data on this? New stock vs new CSF radiators with similar ambient temperature conditions.

To Chris's question above, I installed CSF radiators on my GT4 front 981S .I wouldn't say they were any better at cooling than new OEM products, but at the time, I could buy the CSF for slightly less money than OEM which is why I went that route. They might be better, but I don't think they are 10 degrees better.

280 seems wild. You might want to get that cooling checked up, just in case.
FWIW, I just drove 4 hours down to Washington DC - all highway, 7th gear, < 3000 rpm most of the time. Oil temp was in the high 220s. 225, 228. So even on leisurely drives, the car is above 225...
