Default Taking oil sample

Running Mobil 1 5W-50 in my 09 Boxster PDK. I've done one HPDE and plan on at least 4 more this year. I want to take an oil sample to see how often I should change the oil. Should I catch oil at the beginning, middle or end of the drain?

Much easier to collect oil in a 28 oz clean ex plum tomato can and then pour into Blackstone analysis sample container.
