Default Nothing has changed in F1

In fact it's even worse this year. Last year the Ferraris were 0.3 slower than the Mercs. Now it's 0.7 seconds. They better come up with something quick or it's going to be a very long season (and annoying one). Hopefully the race pace will be different but I doubt it.

The positive is that there's going to be a real battle between the "other" teams. They're all really close. Only the William's cars are lost.

We'll see what happens tomorrow!

yeah really. I was disappointed Red Bull wasn't faster with the Honda. Maybe they need a few races to iron things out. The new aero is apparently a factor also. Should be interesting tomorrow

I too was disappointed. However with the Netflix series, it gave me more insight into the inter team rivalries in the lower 8, so to speak. I am looking forward to that race!

How can you say that? They completely changed the color codes for the tires.

I was disappointed Ferrari were so far off the pace in qualifying, but even more disappointed it's Hamilton on pole again.

On the last lap Bottas was purple in the first two sectors. I guess he blew it in the final sector or he would have got pole.

Gary, Maybe we can see Ocon replace him if this persists?
He's a Mercedes driver-customer team

It makes sense that nothing would change until a whole new set of regulations and engines comes out. The team that has the best engine and spends the most should logically always stay first. It has been boring for quite a few seasons now

That would make sense, Sean--Ocon should be driving, not waiting, but Toto won't release him.

But I'm really pulling for Kubica after all he's been through.
