Race Insurance for lower cost race cars?
 
Last time I inquired (several years ago) the company I was pointed to (no idea who it was) would not insure cars for PCA Club Race with a value under $50k or so but said they were considering it for a future offering. Does anyone have experience insuring a sub-$50k car for a race weekend with let's say a $5k deductible? Even a contact to check it out would be great.

I believe Hagerty does. When I looked last week, it was about $200 a day for a $30k car w/ 10% deductible. Double check as I could be off some.

For Club RACE insurance Matt? That's cheaper than DE insurance? I'll check it out, thanks.

Sorry, that's DE. Multitasking mistake. I think your much more limited for race insurance.

Combined with new Jongbloed wheels and a solid cheater motor I should be good to go..

As Matt indicated Hagerty. Just did a weekend at Summit Point; $200 for $26,200 w/ 10% deductible with Hagerty I used Lockton Motorsports last year. Lockton has multiple event discounts starting at six events. Hagerty has environmental clean-up included.

No need to BOLD. I didn't read it. I had looked for a HPDE quote from Opentrack, but $30K is there minimum value.
