I think Sean should do a Geico commercial with progressive engine modifications, ending up with 18k revving F-1 V10 stuffed in his "vintage" racer. 😮

I was right. It was cold and wet but a lot of fun. It even snowed for a while today. Now if I wouldn't have spun off and gotten stuck while in P1 in sprint 2 it would have been even more fun. Thanks for not hitting me Bill.

I did the same thing in sprint 2. Started P1 and had rain/hail coming down. Spun from first and got back up to fourth before spinning again and ending in fifth.

First and third races were awesome! Will post some videos tomorrow.

Looks like there is a new sheriff in town in GTD as well. Did you really pass 23 cars?

As Frank said you didn't do too shabby yourself!

Here is the first sprint race below. What really helps here is trusting the driver you are battling with and JD / Fumes is someone I can go wheel to wheel with without worry. It felt nice to be a the pointy end of the stick after normally being lumped in with the Cups - lots of heads up driving from the other classes who were very courteous.

I managed a PB of 56.45 which I am very happy with but more work to do.

Mixing it up with Del Auray and JD was awesome. Del checked the hell out in the last sprint race and finished about half a lap ahead of the rest of us.

The one nice thing about racing LRP is with no racing on Sundays I am currently sitting home, eating my bacon and eggs, and watching F1 (which is a little boring compared to all the club races).

Since I had over three hours of sunny dry track at Thursday's DE I figured I'd stand out in the freezing rain yesterday afternoon and shoot photos. Here's a couple of some of you for your personal use. If anyone else was there shoot me a PM and I'll see what I have, I only shot some of Green, Vintage and White. I'll be sending a batch to CVR as well. Great racing guys!..
