Oof - agree, this will be challenging for E.

Nice turnout for the Vintage Group: 21 air-cooled cars, with one or two more possible. Should be fun for the racers and spectators. Wish I could be there.

Run groups are never perfect. Last year GTB1 was with the Cups and it worked well because the Cup drivers were all locals with tons of experience. Problems always arise when the fast guys in the slower car class run similar lap times as the backmarkers of the faster car class. Qualifying at Lime Rock is always interesting as you really only have the first 1 - 2 laps without traffic, especially with only one warm-up lap under double yellow.

Wishing everybody a good race. Wish I could be there!

I wonder if it's too late to switch to vintage

No, definitely not too late. You can even switch during the weekend if you want.

it would be great to get a few more cars in the run group.

Looking at the weather report it looks like we may be complaining that it will be too warm! Hope the forecast remains stable.

Either more points for me or I become someone else's points!

I'd love it if it rains on race day but so far it looks clear.

If I hear anyone complain it is too warm they are getting a smack!

I'll be at the track Friday. Let me know if anyone needs any AiM stuff and I can bring it to the track for you.

I've done some searching here, but what's the general consensus on a route from the mid-Atlantic (coming up NJTP) with a big trailer? I know about the parkways in NY and CT, but I can't seem to get a clear answer on whether or not I'm allowed on the GSP past exit 105. I'm not commercial, but I am over 10k GVWR and over the length restriction too

I drive from central jersey and the way i usually go is NJTP/95 through GW Bridge, 87 to 287, then to 684. From there to rt 22. I dont think you can be on GSP at all, or any of the NY parkways for that matter.
