I only have a 3 pt belt so it sounds like I need a Hybrid S and not the OP’s Sport model?

That's fine.
I suggest researching the products on the Simpson website.
It may be true that the Hybrid S is "approved" by FMVSS (which appears to be a testing group) for 3-point belt systems found in typical street cars.
That said, the Hybrid Sport is very similar to the Hybrid S and can be used with the 3-point belts, at half the price point of the Hybrid S model.
The Hybrid S has a carbon fiber structure, while the Hybrid Sport is a rugged plastic. The belt structure of both devices is the same, but the Hybrid S belts are wider than the Hybrid Sport model.
Again, do your research and let me know if you change your mind.
Thanks

Bump.
This HNR safety device can be used with either a 5-point harness or a 3-point harness.
