Default drybreaks?

For cars that have the female drybreak to allow fueling fast via dumpcans what happens if you don't have a dump can? In a pinch can you fuel the car with just a funnel? Will the funnel push open the female break so you can add fuel?

Thanks I'm clueless

Yes - if need be you can initially open the flap with a screwdriver.

Carl, here are a few pictures of the Dry-brake from my Radical and you can push in the flap this far with your finger. You can use a fuel can or a gas pump if needed.

Maybe it's not the kitchen. Maybe he's got a fancy shop.

A small PVC pipe with an elbow works well for this. Better than a screwdriver as you can pop it in and it holds open while you are fueling. That said, nothing beats a can with a dry break.

I found that using my old Flo-Fast fuel pump system works just fine by wedging the hose into the inlet, held firmly in place by the spring-loaded disc of the inlet. Didn't need to buy the dump can and valve, so saved a few $$, and using stuff I already had.
