Epic race. Porsche winning aside, probably the best ever finish there and that’s say something as there have been some unbelievable conclusions over the years. Matt Campbell is a star, undoubtedly one of the top Aussie drivers |

I watched it live on motorsport.com. A very nice race. it must be hard to be a Porsche driver or team member and having to have the patience for Porsche’s strategy to pay off as it did today, since the 911 goes for longer stints as it’s easier on the tires and its flat-six is less thirsty than the bigger V12 or V8 of its competitors, thus catching up during the race what they lose in the opening stages. Masterful driving. Too bad that the #911 didn’t find the pace and finally DNF. |
