Just read a report that the FAA halted flights at LaGuardia, Newark and Philly airports. Long lines at security and problems with air traffic controllers. This is going to really suck if people can't get to the race. My flight leaves out of Westchester airport on Wednesday.

I hope for everyone's sake, not the least these people working without pay, that this gets resolved quickly.

It would be about 25 - 27 hours for me. But it is a backup.

Let's get Cirrus out of Westchester and fly down VFR. I'll pilot.

They just announced a deal to reopen the government for the next three weeks. Hopefully that means flying goes back to normal.

The GTB1 cars outqualified the C3 cars. Are the GTB1 cars that much more developed now or is it more a function of the driver. 217.5 vs 219.9.

That Q was a mess. Anyway, the set up is harder in the 996 cups. Springs are 1400-1600 and that is spec. When you come to Sebring, we have to dial the cars back to the ideal softer window.

Wait till the end of the weekend.

Fast GTB1 cars were always in that range.

The C3 cars (at least one that I know of) tested as quickly as that B1 time on Wednesday. They'll get quicker, the B1 car will not.

A fine time by the B1 car, however.
