I might still be there, just not racing, which is what I want to do. But Doctor's tell me to be patient. Something I am not good at.

Letter classes dead or dying. 16 out of 143 racers are letter, rest have moved to spec. I remember 5 years ago we would have almost 16 racers in H alone. Time to build a new car soon

Wonder if there is a practical way to combine F-G-H. Could add another 300lbs to your car and make you 195s at each corner for example.

Spec Cayman was always going to kill off G, H and I. I said it when it was announced.

todd u went to B1. jimmy went to B1. i think the popularity of B1 has as much to do with shrinking I class as anything else. 3 SPC cars 2 I cars right now reg'd...

+1 That's 11 but we know you're out there. The weather in Sebring in late Jan / early Feb is (almost) always beautiful.

I went from I to SPC because PCA let new cars into I class that had a lot more horsepower than me and it became a joke. SPC is a good class but it just wasn't for me.

GTB1 is where I want to be because it is the kind of car I want to drive. That being said, there is not a ton of difference between the handling and setup of an I class car and GTB1. Last year the only difference between my I class car and running it in GTB1 was Pirellis instead of Hoosiers.

I think SPC will become the next SPB in a few years but it will further shrink the letter classes.

Time for a change in the 911 body D and E and F cars.
Let's group them all together in a spec 911 class called "911CUP".
We will performance balance the previous D/E/F (and maybe G) 911 cars with weight adjustments. All other rules stay same.
Previous F cars stay same weight.
E cars reduce weight by 100 pounds.
D cars reduce weight by 200 pounds.
I just made those numbers up but you get the idea.
This way we will have more 911 cars in the group and no costly changes to the existing cars out there.

Well there's a whopping three (3) Spec Caymans signed-up so not exactly a thundering herd of masses have made their way to that class. I'm shocked that there are six (6) Spec 997 cars signed-up. That's pretty neat...they're going to have fun.
