I'm guessing that car has vintage bias ply tires. Lots of sliding with those. Bumps at Sebring just make it more of a handful.

His night stint at the Nurburgring 24 in the rain is legendary.
He's also done some off road excursions in a 911 Safari at VIR.

On a side note, I've noticed many of the vintage race cars have the dash bar right in front of their knees like in the video. How safe is that? It looks like he has to contort his legs to avoid the bar while downshifting.

Rode with him around Roebling in 03/04 at a seat-time.com event. Those were fun times.

Club Racing is the plan with the MR. Will be fun to watch that go down.

Hoosier R7’s in the class. Not sure what’s on this car.

If you look for it on youtube this is what he posted on the comments:

" Driving the SpeedConcepts 3.0 liter “1974 IROC” car. Tires are very used Hoosier R7. HSR race at Sebring"

Suppose for good internet love you need to overdrive and slide the car like crazy

Fast usually looks pretty slow and boring which then the masses snooze at

Regardless good driver and fun to watch

Great driving skills. Always fun to watch Leh's videos. To me the driving looks spot on to be very quick. Right on and over the limit requires very quick hands and frequent correction... i imagine its exacerbated by the fact he's driving a 70's 911.

Been waiting a long time for a fresh Leh Keen driving video - and this one did NOT disappoint! Thanks, Leh, for sharing your gifts with those of us out here on the Internets who think we know how to drive. LOL!

Looks good to me. These cars move around a lot, and KingLeh is not afraid to MAKE them move around. Nothing too sketchy...

Three laps.

2.17.XXX
2.18.XXX
2.19.XXX

Tires were going off...

I have some 2:26.XXX in a 2-liter (yes, 2.0-liter) car driven by JLS or Brady around somewhere. Not quite as much reckless abandon as these laps, but pretty close!
