Getting 991.2 GT3, used Hoosiers 245/315/18's on 997 RS and was very happy with that setup. What works best on the 991.2? Also, any track alignment recommendations would be appreciated.
Do not own a GT3 but from what I've seen at the track walking around being nosy and my research for my own car, your options on 20s seem to be Hoosier R7s, Pirelli Trofeo Rs, Toyo R888Rs or Michelin Cup2s. Feel free to choose which one you like best. Alignment likely will depend on the tire choice.

I’ve been using the Hoosier R7 tires with Forgeline VX1-R wheels (20 inch). I’m really happy with the setup. The Hoosiers have significant better grip than the MPSC2’s on track and the Forgelines are lighter than stock. I am waiting on my camber plates but likely to try an alignment specs in th range of -3 front and -2.6 on the rear to start. Right now without camber plates I am getting too much wear on the fronts.
The most lightweight wheel option for your GT3 would be the BBS RE's which are the aftermarket Magnesium's. Downside is that you'd have to be open to running the GT3RS/GT2RS 20"||21" setup.
The most lightweight 20"||21" setup will be Forgeline's Carbon Barrel wheels. They have four center face styles to choose from.
The most lightweight traditional aluminum forged wheel are the HRE R101 Lightweights that you see on the GMG car above. These would be a lot more cost effective vs the other two of course & still save you close to 30 lbs total vs the OEM wheels
