Mine is three hours away at the lake. I did get the boat out of there last time I was up so that I can get to it to work on. The plan is to pull all four PSS9s off when I'm up there at Thanksgiving so that I can send them in for re-building before Sebring. Ten years is a commendable service life but it's starting to feel a little boat like.

Default A convenient trick!

I don't know why I didn't think of this before. I bought a few small dry erase boards to keep track of bits and pieces that I remove from the car. We've all either misplaced hardware to forgotten what exactly goes where. Problem solved cheap!

Go to Harbor Freight and buy a bunch of magnetic bowls. I used them for parts and put a label underneath the parts. If someone bumps that board its all over.

The kitties all stay inside?

I have a two year old. Some days I wonder if he’d eat them rather than bump them lol

Put that b*tch on pole at the SCCA National Championship Runoffs at Sonoma Raceway. It’s a 2003 996 Carrera and I’m running in the Touring 2 class. Lap time was a 1:45.0. Race tomorrow at 2:35.

Do the folks who have a winter just store their slicks in the basement somewhere? I’ll be getting my first set (DOT slicks that is) in the spring and plan to use those on the track going forward. I understand if they ever get down to freezing temperatures they’re probably junk.

Some of you are my Facebook friends and saw some of these pics but I figured I'd toss them out here since I'm proud of my work!
I recently had a lightbulb moment that I could actually work on TWO cars in my shop by doing some creative reorganization. It may not look like much but it took me two solid days of effort to do it!
I wanted to do this because I just bought a second Formula Mazda from a friend and wanted a place to put it this winter where it could be apart for an extended time without clogging up my lift area. I never put the formula car on the lift. It just needs jacks stands.

I usually manage my tires to where I cycle them out before the winter and just throw them away in the spring. If I can’t do that, they go into large plastic bags and get stored in my heated garage. Don’t ever let them freeze.

Wow - I’ll be right over with my car!
