Default What did you do to your race car today?

This topic format is a common and typically popular one on other rennlist subforums, but I thought it might have a more interesting flavor here.

What did you do to your race or dedicated track car today?

Mounted up a fresh set of Trofeo R's and Pagid Yellows. Track day coming up on Friday and am looking forward to cutting some nice lap times to end the season.

My weekend mountain road / track car isn't a full race car like some of you guys have. But it is dedicated for driving events and fun, not daily duty...
Like my past builds, it'll continue to become more race car with time as I continue learning its limits and desiring more.

Today, my "race car" got an alignment.

Replaced a leaking radiator, installed a new upper radiator hose, new front pads, bled the brakes and gave the car a thorough review in preparation for this weekend at VIR in my not a racecar track car.

Played around with a couple of new external mics for Aim/SCHD.
Still can't get it right, but that's what I did to my track car today...

Such a shortcoming on those devices it's a shame. You have to turn down the internal mic to get anything but wind noise and the externals just never worked well for me. Always used my GoPro audio over my AiM vids...

Yeah, I've been having issues all season with the sound.

Some of these guys who post videos here get such clear, concise, awesome sound and I'm getting wind noise and vibration.

Have 3 more days this season (VIR) to figure it out.

To get back on topic, besides the mic issue, when I get home from work today, I'm gonna put a psi in each tire, just so I can let it out again....

Congrats!!! Would this car be of Canadian origin by any chance... Does it come with a spare splitter package?
