Awesome. I will be there, but not in the Grey car. Wife wants to drive, so taking her 991. But I do have a new set of 20 inch Hoosiers to try out, so hopefully I can keep up with you both.

I ran the grey car twice this year only (once last weekend). I love that car, but right now it does beat me up pretty bad. It’s been 4 years since it was at VIR and 3 years since I was there. I managed to almost die every year since then and missed the event. Can’t wait to be back at VIR.

See you both there!

Holy sh*t, Andy... I change pads multiple times a year! Must be because you barely brake!

How much more quickly do Ferodo pads wear compared to 08's? I think I went a year and a half on the last set of rear pads I ran...I go through maybe 1.5 set of fronts per year.
Andy, what year/ model Cayenne front rotors (or part#) are you using on front? OEM or aftermarket?

Thanks, Dennis

08 Cayenne S 350mm - is generally what I search for. Cheapest slotted ones I can find at the time of search.

I started racing karts and am only doing 6-7 events per year at this point...so that's a data point to be considered. Probably 18-20 days per year total.

Yeah, get the 350mm not the 330 and you are fine. They don’t bolt to the hub but otherwise work. You can find those for right around $100 if you shop around.

Some of the cayenne fronts are only 32mm wide, it’s never caused me any issues. I have the stoptech’s on my car right now.

I have a set of NIB ATE rotors for the front of my GT3 that I am probably not going to use. I can bring them to VIR if anyone is interested. I paid $120 each and will sell them for that. PM me if interested.
